GigaStar Portfolio

Definition

The portfolio dashboard on GigaStar's platform showing an Investor's CRT holdings, Monthly distribution history, and account activity.

Understanding GigaStar Portfolio

The GigaStar Portfolio is the centralized dashboard available to Investors on the GigaStar platform. It provides a comprehensive view of an Investor's Channel Revenue Token (CRT) holdings, Monthly distribution history, and overall account activity.

Through the GigaStar Portfolio dashboard, Investors can view detailed information about each of their CRT holdings, including the Creator's name, the number of tokens held, the revenue percentage associated with each offering, and the revenue-share term. The dashboard also displays a history of Monthly distributions received from each Creator, allowing Investors to track the performance of their individual holdings over time.

The portfolio view provides account-level summaries that help Investors assess their overall diversification across Creators and content categories. This visibility is important for making informed decisions about future CRT investments and ensuring that no single Creator represents an outsized portion of the Investor's total holdings.

Additional features of the GigaStar Portfolio include transaction history showing all purchases made through GigaStar Market (the primary offering platform) as well as any trades executed on the GigaStar Secondary Market. Investors can also view the status of their holdings relative to the 12-month holding period, which determines eligibility for secondary trading.

The GigaStar Portfolio is accessible through the Investor's account on the GigaStar platform and is updated to reflect new distributions, completed transactions, and changes in holding status.

Key Points to Remember

  • GigaStar Portfolio is regulated by the SEC under Regulation Crowdfunding
  • All investments carry risk — past performance doesn't guarantee future results
  • Review all offering documents carefully before investing

Frequently Asked Questions

Are CRTs cryptocurrency?

No. CRTs are traditional securities registered with the SEC under Regulation Crowdfunding. They represent contractual rights to a share of a Creator's YouTube revenue, not a digital currency or blockchain token. Unlike cryptocurrency, CRTs have regulatory oversight from the SEC and FINRA, required disclosure documents (Form C), and Investor protections built into the offering structure.

What happens if a Creator stops making videos?

If a Creator significantly reduces or stops content production, their YouTube revenue would likely decline, which directly reduces or eliminates your distributions. This is one of the key risk factors of CRT investing—your distributions depend on ongoing Creator activity and YouTube revenue generation. While existing videos may continue to earn some revenue, new content is typically the primary driver of channel performance.

What makes CRTs an alternative investment?

CRTs do not correlate directly with stock or bond markets. They represent a new asset class tied to Creator YouTube revenue in the Creator Economy. Like all alternative investments, CRTs are speculative, less liquid than traditional securities, and should represent only a portion of a diversified investment approach. Their performance is driven by individual Creator channel activity rather than broader market conditions.
